ADHD Talk With My 10 Year Old
Erica's 10-year-old joins her for ADHD Awareness Month. How she got diagnosed, the morning routine that gets her to the bus, and what's going on when adults think she isn't listening.
No BS With ES is the conversation you'd have with your best friend, if either of you could ever find the time.
Every guest here gets it: the executive function, the rejection sensitivity, the twelve open tabs that never close. These are real interviews about motherhood, marriage, and the mental load nobody else sees.
The ADHD diagnosis that finally explained everything at 22. Hormones that hijacked your personality. The confidence that went missing somewhere along the way. The version of yourself you're quietly trying to get back to.

Real conversations, honest questions, and useful information. Without pretending any of us have it figured out.
I'm Erica. I'm 45, married, with three kids under 13 and a dog named Brooklyn. Looking back, the honest word is roller coaster: highs, drops, and stretches where I had no idea what was next. I'm not a doctor. I don't have a degree in this. I'm here because I have a lot of questions.
On the show I talk with friends, family, doctors, and professionals about the things I want to understand. We ask the questions a lot of us have, and we figure out what we can actually use. Not as an expert. As the person still making sense of the information, and learning how much it matters to advocate for yourself and the people you love.
My best friend once said, “Erica, you wear your heart on your sleeve.” That stuck. This show is me doing that on purpose, so somebody else on the ride feels a little less alone.
